Skrapp.io set out to solve the challenge of inefficient and inaccurate lead generation by providing sales and marketing teams with a reliable tool for email verification, prospecting, and data enrichment, aiming to streamline outreach efforts, improve conversion rates, and reduce wasted resources on incorrect or outdated contact information.
Research
For the design of Skrapp.io, I conducted comprehensive user research by analyzing customer feedback, performing competitive analysis, and conducting user interviews with marketing and sales teams to understand pain points in lead generation, ensuring the platform’s UX was intuitive, efficient, and aligned with user needs for email verification, prospecting workflows, and data accuracy.
Design
When designing the Skrapp.io platform, I focused on simplifying the complex process of B2B lead generation. I started by conducting in-depth user research with marketing teams to understand their pain points around data accuracy and email verification. Using this feedback, I designed an intuitive interface with clear visual hierarchies to guide users through email validation, prospecting workflows, and bulk data uploads. I also implemented real-time error feedback to minimize friction, allowing users to quickly clean and enrich their data with minimal effort.
Outcome
Following the redesign and development of Skrapp.io, the platform saw a 35% increase in user retention within the first six months, with users spending 40% more time on average using the lead validation tools. The addition of bulk email verification led to a 50% reduction in manual errors, directly improving email deliverability rates by 15%. Additionally, the new user interface resulted in a 20% faster onboarding process, significantly enhancing the user experience and reducing churn among new users.
